Do I or Do I not have DSP?
i bought the silverline kit... for m a month i tried to see if i needed the dsp kit as well and had no really straight answers... to see if i needed or had DSP on my radio, some people said if your radio does not say DSP than it is not DSP. check in the trunk to see if you have a bare metal co-ax cable or a six and three prong harness, etc. etc. I even called the dealer and gave them my VIN# and they said I do not have DSP.
Today i got the kit and voila I have no Six pin harness I do have a small elbow shaped bare metal tiny co-ax and a three pin harness with the brown wire all the way at the end. is that what they are talking about? or do i need to dig further and see if i have a six pin harness hiding in the nooks and crannys of the car? When I push the music note button i do get a DSP menu that says DSP JAZZCAFE/ DSP CHURCH / DSP CONCERT only |

I ran into the same problem when I bought my DICE unit, I just went with the radio interface that installs behind the radio. No more worrying about DSP/No-DSP since the radio interface is before all the DSP jazz. Sounds like you do have DSP since you have a co-axial cable and the DSP settings.
