328i Manual Transmission Fluid Capacity?

Hello All,

I just changed my transmission fluid this weekend and was only able to get 1.5 liters of fluid in before the fluid started to overflow. I had the car perfectly level with all four sides on jack stands but I am worried I didn't put enough fluid in.

I have been searching the web but can't find the official capacity for 328i manual transmissions.

That sounds about right. The spec is kind of a pain to find. I've always told people "under 2qts" which 1.5L = 1.6qt.

Mine took ~1.5.
