Will these wheels fit?

Hi.

So I plan to get some 18" wheels.
Right now, my stocks are on 17's. The tire size are 215/45/17 for the front and 225/45/17 for the rear.
What tire size is ideal for 18" with a drop of just tucking a little tire?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT:
Found some 19" VMR's that I might just get instead.

5x120 8.5 33 front 9.5 35 rear
with 235/35/19 front tires and 265/30/19 rear tires.
That size seems fine right?

The correct OEM square setup for 18"x8" is 225/40R18 all around.
The optional OEM staggared sizes are 225/40R18 front (on 8" rim) and 255/35R18 on 8.5" rim rear.

You also want to stay within 3% of your stock setup.

You can use this calculator to help you figure that out. I've found it helpful.

Thanks for the info.
Noob question, but what do you mean by square and staggered?

Also,
Would these be a good size and fit?
5x120 offset 15 18x8
with front tires 225/40/18 and rear tires 255/35/18.

Square means same size at all 4 wheels. What you have indicated above is a staggared setup.

The 15 offset is pretty small; the wheels and tires will be pushed out almost 1" (35mm is standard), and the rears will probably rub.

Thanks for the reply.
Would it be bad?
I'm picking them up tomorrow.

Offsets are off. 30 front, 35 rear are normal. 255 are a bit wide for 8" and will pucker a bit. 8.5 is normal. You will need to roll and stretch to fit. Plus camber.

Thanks.
Actually, might go with some 19" VMR's.
