Wheel/Steering squeak

2007 E92 328xi w/ 94,500 miles
Just checked PS fluid and the level is fine. Not sure what it's supposed to look like but it looked like dirty water to me. Noise is coming from outside around wheel area. Squeaking inconsistently mostly around 30-40 mph. Yesterday it was squeaking when I let off the brake w no gas (like 2 mph) and it squeaked very slow. I read on other forums that it could be the e brake or the brake shoe rubbing on the dust shield. It could be CV/U joint. It could be sticky brakes(?). Anyone have this problem before? Oh and when I am parking and turning the steering wheel it squeaks hard af when steering wheel is turned at a certain point on both sides.

It's been known that the brake pad sensor can do this sometimes. Not sure if that's what it is your case, but maybe it's worth looking at
