Who plans on getting the new M5?
I currently drive a 2017 M3 zcp and I'm reluctant to step up to such a heavy large care even though I'm sure it's going to be great. I guess the only way to truly decide is a test drive.

I think the new M5 sounds very exciting and I would like to consider it when the time comes. However the amount of technology (read:weight) is astounding. If it feels like the last M5, the new "M5" to me is really the M3 sedan.

I am very likely to get one as soon as my F80 lease runs outÂ… thatÂ’s if I I can stretch my finances.
Love the F80 but I need something a bit more comfortable and bigger for the kids. I will surely miss track days as I have no intention to bring the M5 to a track but will compensate this by getting an E46 later down the line. If finances are a stopper (bloody hope not !), I will be looking at C63s estate (2018 LCI) or GLC63s or new RS4 |

I didn't know you got rid of the M5. I hope your M3 is at least a Manual. Lol!

Yeah likely but not for 2.5 yrs when my lease runs out on the 2016 I have.
It works out well, I love the F10 and I'll let others work out all the bugs for me before I jump in one

I was waiting for the f90 m5 for a long time, but its disappointing. 4WD should be an option, DCT is a must, also I'm not sure for looks of the new 5 series. My only issue is there isn't many options other than the panamera but its too pricey.

I had the F10 M5 comp package. I'm now in an X5 50. I'll be taking a serious look at the Jeep GC TrackHawk. 707bhp with a base price of $85k is too hard to ignore.
I know that it is apples to oranges.

My lease on my F10 M5 is up March of 2019 so I will most definitely will be looking into the F90. I believe this car will be a BEAST. The fact they added AWD which is a must on this car I feel driving my F10 coming out of corners you cant open the throttle quickly wo traction control bogging you down or getting tail happy. The AWD will make this car feel faster being able to mash the gas whenever. Plus even with AWD the car is lighter than the F10 which is amazinggg. And anyone who doesn't want AWD go into the settings and turn it off. I think BMW nailed this car on many levels. One thing I'm curious on though is sound which will remain too be seen.

Had similar reluctance when trying the (heavy) GTR but holy mackeral.....doesn't drive like a heavy car. Also drive an e92 M3 and an i8 which is light. Different feel but they're all good....I wouldn't hesitate to get the F90 M5.
