New clips for new brake pads

I need to replace my brake pads since my warning light lit up. My current rotors are zimmerman and pads are textar.

Ordered Jurid pads and BMW OEM sensors from Pelican Parts. Do I also need to order the brake clips or can the existing ones be used? If I do order new ones, will the BMW clips fit Jurid pads? Will be taking it to an Indy shop for labor.

The funny part is that the shop I go to for my maintenance are quoting $276 for the Textar pads and almost $400 for BMW pads which is insane.

I just reused old clips/cleaned the old rust then painted ....but inspect them and if they look too rusty/deformed i would say replace.

Agreed. You can probably use them for 2 brake jobs. After that, toss them and get new ones.

Rustoleum 2 in 1 works great. Maybe use a SS wire brush to get the rust off.
