Looking for Mature, Safe drivers LA/OC Canyons
Hey all,
Im still "fairly" new to the forums. Im looking for a mature group to join to just learn how to drive my car safely through the canyons. Im part of SOCAL lateral G but I've seen many members have issues with other members on double laning and driving like assholes. I'd like to join a group or just drive up with some other enthusiasts and learn from them the responsible limits of our cars and how to properly drive the canyons without endangering others. I just got done with a 1 1/2 hour drive through GMR. Mainly stayed in 2nd and 3rd the entire time. i don't think i went above 40MPH and even then that was in the longer stretches at the start. as other members have described it. VERY BUSY and involved type of road for driving. ill need to try ACH next... If anyone would like to join me or can refer me to a group of cool people it would be much appreciated! thank you John |

awesome! i was hoping to start a little group or something. i have some buddies, mostly have subarus (BRZ, STI, WRX etc..) i had a supercharged BRZ before this. but i was hoping to get some more BMW members in on the group. Am looking to learn as much about the brand and culture as possible (in addition to driving)
was either thinking of doing a little private Facebook group, or text line whenever people wanted to do a little meet up, casual chill cruises. |

I just did ACH again last week. GMR is much too tight for our cars (or me at least) but ACH has been really fun!
I don't know if thats too far out but there isn't much (as far as i know) in the OC unless you want to drive all the way down near SD (Palomar mountain) other than that i only know of GMR, ACH, Tuna canyons road and a few other through malibu (mulholland, etc..) |
