Person who made a "evry" like mod

I can't find the thread I have searched and searched I just don't re!e!be what it was called...

There was a person who made a "evry" like mode that achieved jbd like gains

I don't remember what it changed, but I wanted to read the thread to kill some time... Now that I can't find it I want to find it more!! Lol

Anyone remember this??

Tuning box I looked at plugged into the sensor at the end of the fuel rail, guessing pressure, so guessing he cheated that into conning the ect to drop more fuel in?

Pretty neat!

when i did it on an old VW i used a variable resistor so i could adjust between no gain to rolling coal....

its frowned upon but it is the ghetto way to make more power from a derv, yes a remap is better but so is buying a faster car

Man.....this is cool what Rob was able to come up with, dont get me wrong, but this is pretty old stuff.... if the JBD wasnt available...or if it was illegal....damn right, do this...

But you can get a used JBD for 100-150... Dont mess around with this. Yes it works, yes it mimics what the JBD does....just get a JBD, its much cleaner and much easier...

As for your thing about "EVERY MOD"......this is the standard ABC delete....which most of us are doing now if you are wanting to mod and dont live in CA.... Thats a pretty old thread, when that wasnt a common thing....it is now....

Yeah it's just a poor man's JBD.
JBD is better because it doesn't mess with the lower pressures, like at idle and low loads. I'm not skilled at electronics to mess with that.

Funny thing is when I had a TDI I never did the "evry" mod. I bought my TDI chipped already.

I was running it for a while, but of course because it offsets the pressure all through the range, the mpg was off. No problems at all, but if you are chipped and they raised the rail pressure in your tune, you may have problems.
My injector 5 and 6 had problems due to other reasons, the crappy x5 plastic partitions leaking corroded those two.

The most annoying part was finding connectors that I could slide into the sensor and the female plug.

he means EVRY mod, not "every" unless i'm teaching you suck egg i apologise but EVRY was a forum user on a VAG forum that wrote about this and it became "his" mod so to speak although its been done long before he wrote about, his mod was to add a resistor or variable one inline with the injection harness on VAG cars and then it took off....

i agree on the box option though, have just brought a used RACECHIP pro 2, the install is SO clean, using proper sealed connectors ect fits in nicely with the engine bay!
