What color brake calipers?

Since the weather is good and I can finally use my car for something other than DDing, I decided to make the leap to new brakes. But I figured while I'm at it, I might as well make it look good in the process.

I'd like to avoid red, seeing that everytime you see a BBK, it's usually red. Not to mention that stis/evos have red ones stock and porsches have red ones stock.

For reference:

Yes, I would avoid red calipers on Montego, I'd like to see some yellow calipers on montego.

i'd look into AP Racing brakes if you were interested in something other than Brembo.

Judging by your mods, I'm guessing you track your car as well?

I'd go with some Silver AP Racing or some Silver Stoptechs.

You guess well. I've always been partial to Stoptechs, but I do have a friend with APs who said he'd let me try them out. EVO119 recommended them as well. I guess they have quite a fanbase in BMW land?

Well for performance, brembo, ap racing and alcon would be my choices. Actually those were my options when i was shopping for a set.

For cosmetic, Rotora and JBT would be satisfactory.

Stoptech kinda lay in between for me. I've never had them, but i hear good and bad things about them.

AP Racing are pretty much as good as it gets. They would look awesome in yellow on your car.

I did own a E46 M3 with Brembos. They were about the same as stock far as braking performance but resisted fade much better. But I ended up with a cracked rotor after two track days at Button Willow which is not hard on the brakes at all. Wont be buying Brembos ever again.

I had M2 Performance Brakes (uses AP calipers) on my RX7 and they were awesome. The best brake setup ever.
Had Stoptechs on my S2000, which were almost as good as my M2 setup, but not as much bite off the bat.
