Battery vent tube
Hi - I recently replaced the battery from a 2006 330i. The battery that I removed (installed by the previous owner) wasnt the oem one and it wasnt vented. The new one that I putted in is an Interstate MTP-48/H6 I Installed a vent tube kit to the positive side of the battery, but i also noticed that the new battery has another vent hole in the negarive terminal side. Should this other hole be covered? Because is not and I'm getting rust all over the battery surrounding.
Thanks |

Yes, plug all unused vent holes. Don't forget to register/program the new battery if you haven't already

When you say plug you mean connect it to the vent hose using T adapters or something like that or do you mean just cover the hole with anything? |
