Am I installing my rear shock correctly? (pic) (b12)
Just want to make sure as I don't have any instructions and the DIY isn't clear on this aspect.
(I have the washer under the blue boot)

That looks right. The rubber bushing should be pushed all the way down when you mount them. The thin black rubber piece is what sits up against the body, then the captive nut goes on the top from the trunk. I just did b8 and eibach springs today.

Thanks. Everything went smooth except I snapped the lower bolt of the sway linkage off. So... guess I'm going to get an extractor set tomorrow. Huge PITA.

Yup. Replaced the sway bar, spring, link, all the arms, etc. Huge job. Would be done but my brake lines aren't here yet and I can't get the seized bolt (now snapped) out of the hole. Snapped a cobalt bit trying to drill it out. I rigged up a ziploc so it's submerged in PB blaster right now, gonna let it sit a few days.
