Future M5 mods

Well, I've already put money down for my new M5 so I thought it was about time to start picking my mods! Here's my list so far..

Dinan Coilvers
Dinan Sway bars
Dinan Tuner
Body color deflectors
Pilot Super Sports 305 rear/285 front
Wheel Spacers
30 window tint all around
Clear bra for the front end (bumper, fenders, hood, mirrors)

I like tasteful mods, not over the top racer boy stuff. I currently have an M4 with very similar mods as the above.

What mods is everyone else considering?

I think people are considering whether to even buy it first.

Not all of us! Some have been waiting a while for the new m5 and are pulling the trigger immediately

It's not as impressive as prior generations were, hence the hesitation and whey the E63s is looking pretty good.

Benz has gone in the wrong direction with their cars.....

C, E and S all look the same, you can barley disquisition the different models.

Aside from aesthetics I would be opting for Intakes, downpipes, X pipe with full exhaust, meth, pure stage 2 with the new upgraded charge coolers and some type of trans upgrade with custom tune.

Depends if you want more comfort or more performance. Obviously if you want stiffer handling it’s going to be a rougher ride. It’s a trade off

not just about comfort or performance.

for example if you do spacers and coilovers you will be rubbing in the rear over just about every bump on stock wheels. with 305 section width on the rear probably wont even clear the fenders. turning while going over slight bump will have rubbing in the front. this is on the highest setting.

noisier as well. no parts fit quite as good as the stock parts. and never go back together quite as well as the factory assembly.

dinan anything is shittier than the stock parts.

i have KW V2 coilovers w/12/10 mm spacers, which are better than dinan and it rubs over bumps like every 2 minutes. drives me NUTS.

now i guess if you're only tracking the car then its better but in that case why do you have an m5? lol

Likely the same for me, maybe some new wheels. And, want to see what exhaust options are out there.
