When can we expect 1st reviews ?
Anyone know when the car will be released to the press for for the 1st test drive ? Unlike the F80 which was no brainer for me at the time, I would prefer to see the 1st reviews before pulling the trigger on the F90

I'm just asking when we can expect the first review after next week official launch in Frankfurt. Will it be weeks, months ? Did the press already received an official invite from BWM ? Since some people in this forum are well connected (Scott, Lemetier)they could may be give us a hint.

Scott is more on the the PR side than I am, so he would provide a better answer. In my opinion though, this is one of the best M5's in a long time. My favorite part: The Front Axle Traction Assist. It's completely transparent and makes the car unbelievably neutral and easily controlled. |

My pleasure. It started a few minutes ago. I'm extremely jet lagged and dealing with the aftermath of Irma at my home from FRA so won't be contributing much right now.

The production car tests are still far but no so far away. The production car does not arrive on the market until Spring 2018. But the test drives will avoid the Tyre debacle of the M550i.

SCOTT, as a personal question do you see yourself getting rid of your 30 Jahre M5 for the new car at some point?

I drove the new X3 M40i to the IAA. It's completely brilliant but has untapped potential and remains wanting.

Press Drives in November @ Bimmerpost for the occasion?
Hopefully I get a drive on the non-media days?
