Blue painted stretch bolt with torx head
Hi guys,
Need your help. I've changed my plugs yesterday on my 07 335i. Today I've found a sheared torx bolt with blue lick of pain on the ground where the car was parked. I cant seem to find where it came from. Can you please tell me the locations where these are used so that I can identify which one sheared? Btw I didnt touch any such bolts on my spark plug change and car runs fine nothing sounds like its loose. Bolt is the same as this one https://goo.gl/images/fojFyz and also is is threaded all the way up to the collar, with no portion of the shaft unthreaded. Thanks. And sorry if its in the wrong section. |

would be easier to tell you where they are not used. Could be any number of spots.

It was likely a bolt which holds down this wiring harness:

Aa fuck. That looks exactly lile it @FCobra94. If i take the cover off and its that, is it load bearing? As in dont drive the car at all till its sorted or will it be fine for a couple of weeks till I go for a carbon clean and get it sorted then?
Does it only hold the harness or is it for the valve cover too? |
