Water pump bleed procedure not working.

I just swapped out my water pump and t-stat on my E92 335xi but not able to run the water pump for bleeding. The connectors all looked good and are in securely, fuses check and good. Only thing I can think is the problem is my blower motor is not working right now afyer some heavy rain and have not had a chance to swap it out. Anyone know of a way to bypass it to get the bleed procedure to start? Any other ideas what the problem might be?

Make sure you're holding the gas pedal down for like 10 seconds (maybe more not sure) with the key on and the cabin thermostat set to max temp. 84 deg i believe.

That is the procedure but since I think since my blower is not working it is causing it not to recognize what I am doing.

Well replaced the blower motor but still isn't activating. Anyone know the specific fuse that goes to the water pump? I am double check all electrical again as that is the only thing I can think that could be the problem now except if I somehow got a defective new water pump. Any help/suggestions would be helpful, need to fix before Tuesday.

OP, I had the same issue as you when I replaced my WP a few months ago. Made a thread and checked all the fuses but there were no clues. I opted to bleed it the old school way (heater on hot and engine running until no more bubbles from the expansion tank overflow valve) and so far it's been good in 80/90-degree temps. If you turn your car on and you see water moving through the expansion tank (with cap off), then that means your WP is working.

Hey thanks for the reply. I ended up trying that way today after rechecking everything. After a minute of the car being on, I turned it off and the WP remained on and kept bleeding the system. Weird that the bleed procedure didn't work though.
