It is possible to grind the bolt down i couple of mm and still torque it properly. I did that. Hex bolt also works. Think it is M10

Just tried to buy a hex bolt, it was a M12 1.75 40mm (10.9 grade).

The only one I could find within 10 miles is an 8.8 (grade 5 equivalent). Think it will be ok or just wait until I can find a grade 8

It turned out, I got scammed from someone on ebay and with used knockoff pipes.

I ordered a new set of VRSF pipes and had them on in 30 minutes.
