I have several engine parts for sale as well as a couple performance parts. The full list is below. For clarity - not all parts are available immediately, and will be noted as such beside the part for sale.

Stock turbos with 70k on them. Sold.

Stock fuel pump - Sold.

1 pair of stock cam shafts (Exhaust and Intake) - will be ready to ship in 60 days. Asking $850 plus shipping.

1 Cylinder Head with stock valves and springs - will be ready to ship or pickup in 60 days. PM for price.

1 LP Stage 3 Hybrid turbo rated at 500/700 - will be ready in 60 days. Turbo has 500 miles on it. PM for price and details.

1 BPC Down Pipe - will be ready to ship in 60 days. $450 plus shipping.

1 Set of OEM pistons and rods. 70k on them. Ready to ship - PM for price and pics. Pending sale on the Pistons. Pistons are sold, Rods still available.

1 Stock Air Intake box - make offer.

Various other motor components - PM me what you need (timing chains, EGR cooler, various block off blanks, oil lines, etc).

Also - I can post pics of items as needed and requested.

Pushed 500+hp at some point, was in shop for about a month. Picked up the car and threw a rod a few days later..sucks, but he has a great wife and she bought him a replacement motor for birthday. Can't make this stuff up...great story.

FWIW, very honest seller too. Very good to deal with.

Jealous of marriages like this. Marriages where they both have passion and eagerness to keep moving forward together and keep each other smiling. I admit it...in a funk here.

I have my engine out as well and sourced a new low mileage one. I cannot figure out what to do with the old engine. It seems like such a headache. I checked eBay and car-part.com the hpfp, head, cams etc are going for a lot but nobody is buying. This stuff is going to take me a year to get rid of, even if I sell it for 60% of what people are asking on eBay for the stuff. My comment is non constructive, I just basically want to say I feel your pain.

Sadly this has always been a niche car with relatively low production numbers and even lower number of enthusiast base. As these cars age and accrue miles I see the resale market really plummeting. General consumers here in the US are not buying used high mile bmw diesels.

No worries - and I can be patient. Several things are in the works to possibly increase demand for engine parts. I'd not panic and have a 'fire Sale' just yet.

The M57 platform is about to make a huge evolutionary step forward.

Thanks for hooking me up with the turbo's. HP turbo fixed my problem and got my X5 back on the road.
