What's this noise?

Already changed oil filter and crank sensor from code that showed up. Still making racket. No other codes found. Still runs great. Trying to sell but the sound is scaring potential buyers away. Could it be the alternator?

No not yet. Haven't had a chance to fool with it. But the sound is coming from the oil filter area. Might be the alternator. I'll take the belt off when I get a chance and see if it still makes the same noise. Really scaring off potential buyers. Have to figure this out soon

Ok. Well i have had horrible exsperiences with other brands of oil filters. Id put a mann or bmw in it asap. The noise i had with a advance auto filter sounded like a swooshing sound.
