Help with wastegate rattle
Since installing MHD, I have a terrible waste gate rattle. The rattle is heard worse under the car and in the car, more so than in the engine bay. I tried the rear actuator adjustment, but it did not help. If I disconnect the vacuum cannister that is on the right as you stand at the front of the car, the actuator arm moves and the rattle is completely gone.
I am wondering if I did the actuator adjustment correctly. I loosened the 10mm hex nut. I turned the actuator arm clockwise (from the top of the engine) two full revolutions. If this is the correct procedure, any suggestions on what else to do? Thanks, Nate |

I think you're supposed to turn the rod counter clockwise. If I remember correctly standing in front/top of the engine bay you turn the 10mm nut clockwise towards engine to loosen and the rod counter towards fender to tighten. There's a thread floating around with more info and pictures with directions on which way to turn the rod. GL!
