Help with wastegate rattle

Since installing MHD, I have a terrible waste gate rattle. The rattle is heard worse under the car and in the car, more so than in the engine bay. I tried the rear actuator adjustment, but it did not help. If I disconnect the vacuum cannister that is on the right as you stand at the front of the car, the actuator arm moves and the rattle is completely gone.

I am wondering if I did the actuator adjustment correctly. I loosened the 10mm hex nut. I turned the actuator arm clockwise (from the top of the engine) two full revolutions. If this is the correct procedure, any suggestions on what else to do?

Thanks,

Nate

I think you're supposed to turn the rod counter clockwise. If I remember correctly standing in front/top of the engine bay you turn the 10mm nut clockwise towards engine to loosen and the rod counter towards fender to tighten. There's a thread floating around with more info and pictures with directions on which way to turn the rod. GL!

What you explained is turning the lock nut counter clockwise (towards the engine) and the actuator rod clock wise (towards the fender).

Alright, guess I mixed up the two. The thread already made about this will have all the info for you.
