My BOV is obnoxiously loud.

I've been using an original Tial for some time now and it hasen't been a big deal until ive started having to daily the 335. It sounds like a fn circus barker is standing on my hood cracking a whip. It blows at .000000001 PSI or if you even THINK about boost, SSHHHHHHPIISSSHHHHHHHHH!
No I cant plumb back into the intake. I have relocated inlets.... which are loud as F too.....
anyway, just sharing a complaint, maybe fishing for ideas. Happy Tuesday.

You could put a tighter spring on it and it would reduce its sensitivity, at the expense of some added surge. Not sure how detrimental that would be on stock turbos, especially at daily driving rpms and loads. Other than that, you will likely have to change BOVs. I think the Forge ones are supposed to be fairly quiet, but have no direct experience with them. I do agree though, my Tial is much louder than anticipated. It's louder than the TurboXS RFL I had on my WRX, though not as 'whistlely'.

At some point, too many mods can "ruin" a car or you can grow out of what you wanted out of the car. I had these qualms too with a previous platform and as a result, I parted it out and sold it and went to a new platform. I promised myself at that point not to ruin the next car with too many mods that annoy you. Lol.

I have a tial q and I think it?s too loud. I see tial make a recirc model but haven?t looked into if it bolts straight up to 335 and how much quieter it is given I have dci and the recirc pipe is right by the filter. I?m guessing I will just hear the bov through the cone filter.

Anyone have any experience with the tial recirc

Ya i was just looking at that one. I wouldn't recirculate into the filter in my application because they are individual, but one could plumb the vent into a better location. Like passenger area.
