What happen to the Duke Dynamic trunk?

I placed an order months ago but they still haven't shipped. then they said they are redesigning it.

its pretty the same trunk as the Seibon CSL trunk...

i don't think it look the same. seigon csl trunk is kind of flat on the top.

Anyway i jsut ordered the DD trunk from the factory that actually make the trunk for DukeDynamics. I think they are selling me the prototype but oh well... i see how it does.

yea they're redesigning it...they're also moving to a new local factory so everything is getting delayed, but quality will be better

I'm waiting for this trunk too. I like the look, and I wanted something like it for the rear. The $200 for an m3 lips spoiler is just too much for me since it basically looks the same.

These trunk I think changes the rear a lot.

ya it does change up the rear a lot which is the reason i like it also... someone might have a fiberglass version of it somewhere from what i was told.. but i dont know who it is.

That would be me... install is a bitch. Fitment of the trunk components sucks.. like locks, lights , latches... basically everything. Looking from the outside, you wouldn't know though.

i have to cut the latch area and make custom mounting points for the locking latch. I have to admit, it does look nice though.

no no I didn't buy it...Duke lend me the trunk to use cuz my stock trunk looks like crap after I took the vorsteiner spoiler off. The trunk is really nice tho, looks better in real life.

looks good man...the one I got directly from Duke actually fits pretty good, just needed some minor dremeling of the tail light area, but it IS a prototype too.
