1st geat stalling
The car is shaking horribly when starting to move in first gear
It happens at random times, some times the car is fine all day, other times it will happen on cold starts/mornings and some times later in the day when the car was driven a lot... Can this be somekind of electrical problem? Because it's really random and not persistent |

Checking the car for shadow codes is a good place to start. There's a lot of things that might contribute to this. |

If the car is automatic, it should never stall when the engine is operating properly.
Most common items that may cause this is a problem with VANOS (possibly stemming from oil pressure), or a problem with the timing sensor flooded with oil, or a problem with the MAF sensor. Plugging in the computer is the first step for all these things. |

I have an issue with stalling. it happens sometines going into reverse and occasionally at a set of lights. i also changed battery and the battery light comes on then goes every now and again. no codes showing (brother in-law decided to delete without showing me) Thanks any help would be great. |
