Carbon Fiber Weaves and different products

I've been looking into getting some carbon fiber add ons because I've done what I thought was going to be everything for my car and am bored. So I've been looking to add some carbon fiber pieces here and there. But I want the carbon fiber to be uniform or basically the same pattern among the different parts, say side mirrors, diffusor, etc. Is all carbon fiber pretty much the same or can I end up getting totally mismatching parts? Basically I want all the parts I get cf to match. If anyone with experience or vendors can chime in it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I would say as long as you stay with the same weave, 1x1 or 2x2, you will be good.

All my parts are from different manufacturers and are 2x2 , except Cyba's CF Sharkfin, which I had no idea would be 1x1. Everything looks uniform except the Shark Fin. Even then, the shark fin doesnt look that bad, but it certainly looks different.

Different manufacturers use different processes as well, I.e. Vorsteiner's Vacuum forming, which causes a more uniform weave. Here are 2 of my items, my mirror covers from a guy on EBay Directparts4u, which look alot like my Vorsteiner rear diffuser's weave, and my kidney grills from adamaster which look a little different in certain lighting.

If you notice, in the 3rd photo, they look more alike. It all comes down to lighting with CF I think.

There is 1x1 weaves, 2x2 weaves, and vorsteiner is the only one i know with the 4x4 weaves.

Whatever you decide, just make sure you get the same weave and they should look essentially the same.

These are CF mirror covers. They go right over the mirrors. Because they are covers, they are not going to cover up EVERYTHING, but they look really good in person. And yes, they are taped on with a very thin 3m tape.

I was worried about the same thing and I took a chance ordering from different vendors. My diffuser, Grilles and front splitters are all 2x2 weave and are all very close in weave which look great, so its safe to say they're pretty similar.

Bingo, just make sure you order all 2x2 or 1x1. Vorsteiner offers both weaves known as Black for the 2x2 or Black Mesh for the 1x1.

I bought carbon fiber splitter replicas from Adamaster and they were a GREAT weave, great quality. His kidney grilles are also good.

Shipment is fast from Taiwan, and nothing was damaged!
