TPMS question

Hey guys,

With winter slowly approaching I will be purchasing some tires to put on the used E46 wheels that I purchased.

I was wondering what kind of TPMS system did my car come with since I have rubber valves on my current wheels.

Do I have the FTM system that uses wheel rotation speed or do I have actual sensor in every wheel?

When I goggle TPMS sensor there is some that come up with a rubber valve so this has me confused since I though TPMS sensors only came with metal valves.

Image is just an example.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You're not really driving if you don't have 3 pedals.

Input your information into RealOEM and find the part number.

Thanks for the reply

I looked it up with my VIN and for some reason it registers my car as a 335XI and not 335I but by the look of all the wheels and the Tire pressure control (RDC) - ctrl unit, I do not seem to have the same valves as pictured on the site.....
