Wirelss Car Play
i have had this a few times since received my car in April. I would say about 4 times, just for no reason the iPhone 7Plus would not connect via Apple car play. Previously, disconnecting the phone and restarting the phone connection has helped. Now it is not connecting to carplay at all. I had the IOs 11.1 upgrade and still it was all fine yesterday. Today nothing helps.

Can you please delete your phone from both the iDrive settings and delete the connection from your iPhone then re-pair them?
On my friend's F82 M4 2018, we had to first setup his phone as a regular Bluetooth Phone then add it again as CarPlay otherwise the connection wouldn't connect automatically.

If you have had car since April and have not yet had your dealer upgrade your cars Istep level (software/firmware) take car in. BMW has resolved many idrive issues with the more recent Istep levels.
