335d Dyno JBD 90% DynoJet

I remember when I was looking for Dyno data on JBD the one I received the most hits for was the one provided by JBD and only HP as a function of speed. and I have BOTH power/torque as a function of speed and RPM

I would like to add these for references though I posted on FB page already for other people considering JBD and can do an easy search. I plan on delete & tune soon so this dyno for me was to get a before snap shot.

1st pull was in 3rd gear (super short)
2nd & 3rd pulls were 4th gear

3rd pull: 290whp / 426wtq

I wont post video here because 1 it is too quiet and 2 once you seen one dyno video you seen em all.

PS: this was at an 86 dyno day so all low hp and tq numbers, but at a shop that was filled with 1000+hp AMG's

Stock (from BPC dyno graph) 237hp / 396 ftlb @wheels

(JR's dyno is slightly different stock readings)

So the gain would be: +53whp / +30wtq (compared to BPC baseline stock dyno)

dont think my dyno will show here, but i believe the power/torque comes in with a steeper slope in the low rpm range with JBD vs stock, thats where i think you will really notice some improvement. more area under the curves.

also my car is at 70k miles without CBU cleaning which may be a a factor. but I think JBD is a must have soon after you buy a 335d (a used JBD), but deletes is really where you see the improvements. I think buying a new JBD or Dinan tune isnt worth it assuming you would wanting to delete and tune the car down the line, and you could use the $300 towards a tune.

Ah ok. Thanks. I just bought a JBD used off of the Facebook page. Came in the mail about 20 mins ago. I plan to run it till I sell out other house then will do the complete delete and sell the JBD to complete the circle of life. Thanks for posting this.
