Leak behind moonroof the day after getting new windshield..

Coincidence? Any chance that some kind of issue with a windshield install could cause a leak from the area of the plastic light/control box behind the moonroof? Dealer says no -- and that sounds fairly reasonable -- but quite the coincidence for a car that has never had a single leak. Dealer thinks it is plugged moonroof drains. My driveway does have a slight incline and I park such that front of the car is higher than the rear. Can water get into the windshield area somehow and leak in the ceiling behind the moonroof?

Small update.. this happened right before I was leaving for a trip. I had seen this little piece of yellow tape before I left but didn't think much of it. When I got back last night I realized the yellow tape is like a pull tab for the adhesive strip on the top windshield seal. Is there any reason BMW would not have pulled that strip and set the seal? Could this have been reason for leak?

When my strip went bad I just removed it and didn't have one for a while. It never leaked.
