Magnaflow updated their site. They have sound clips and dyno sheet up. Check it out I think it sounds great and you can pick it up on ebay right now for $940 shipped. <3 the sound.

They really need a better recording, that sounded like shit, not the exhaust, the clip.

Magnaflow mufflers are the way to go IMO. Good deep sound, kills a little bit of the rasp and great flow.

I have plans for a custom magnaflow setup on my car by the summer.

I used the maganflow mufflers for a while and I really enjoyed the sound.
Now, I'm loving my Borla and I would never go back.

The question that I have though is---

"What is included in this exhaust system?"
I would never purchase a product without viewing what it consists of first.

Is there an X pipe involved?
Does this system delete the secondary cats?

Do you have the UR exhaust with their catted DPs? How do you like the sound?

click the link for the install sheet...shows you the layout of the system. Yes it has a X pipe.

Had a Magnaflow system on my Cobra and loved it.

Yes, UR catback plus UR catted DPs. Sounds great...nice deep powerful sound with a little drone around 2K but it's not bad. It's a trade off. Even the general manager at my dealership was impressed as they were driving a new M3 out of the showroom.

Ya,
I saw that.
For everyone else, this link shows you the system;
http://images.magnaflow.com/07techtips/pdfs/16791.pdf

It's a good thing that there is such a discount on the web site above because $1300 MSRP for a system that is a scondary cat back is ridiculously high.

That's dirt cheap, wow.

I already have my eyes on the AE exhaust, though.

That's alright, the AE exhaust looks great and is actually a full catback system. This exhaust needs to be cut after the secondary cats!

The Borla has the best sound as far as gurgle and scavaging sounds.
I believe that my Magnaflows most likely had more hp to the ground since the mufflers were seperated and the exhaust gases exited quicker.

Did I feel a decrease of power when I went to Borla?
No way. It's hard to feel an extra 2 hp at the crank when I already have 368 at the wheels.

Borla sound FTW!
