Delivery mialage

Hi All,

With all the new cars being picked up of late and my new car scheduled for early December, I was wondering how many miles are on the new cars when collected, if I recall correctly my 320d had abut 11 miles on the clock.

6 and 8 on the last 2 I picked up

6,8,11,7 etc

Anything over 30 I'd be asking some questions but they just reset it anyway as part of a PDI I suspect.

My current car had 33 on it, not sure what they'd been doing with it. Was my first new car so didn't really think to ask any questions

I once had a new Volvo (hush!) which I saw in the pre-delivery area and was surprised to see 30 something miles on it. When I later collected it there were 5 miles on the clock.

I suspect in the pre-PDI shipping mode there is the ability to reset milage prior to being locked down in regular operating mode.

It's been discussed and noted on here before.

Unfortunately there is no way to manage mileage without physically remove parts from F3x.

Dealers needed to let some petrol head have a quick blast test drive ahead of putting down a Deposit for a new order with no comparable cars in the pool. 20 hard miles later, one satisfied test drive and more cash for the stealers...
