Tow Bar Question F31N --> F15 (2)

Okay peeps, got another strange question:

My F31N has the BMW OEM electric tow bar fitted which I do not need; can I remove this and fit it to my wife's F15? I guess I am asking if this is the same towbar that would have been fitted to the F15 if ordered from the factory?

Not sure which the F15 is, but it's extremely unlikely.
Even the 3GT is different, though F30, 31, 32, 36 are all the same.
Check realoem.com for the part numbers.

Well that confirmed it, they are different, although look to share the same control unit.
