ID6, Apple Play and phone synching.

Haven’t got my head around the ID6 yet and Apple Play so excuse me if this is a stupid question. On my old F30 330d I could sync up to 4 phones at the same time. I only used 2 (work and private) but both could be connected at the same time (primary and secondary) which worked really well. With my new car however I only seem to be able to sync my private iPhone either via Apple play or standard connection, or disconnect that device and connect my work phone ie I can’t seem to have them both connected. Is this right or am I missing something simple and need to

Did you spec 6NW - enhanced bluetooth?

If not, it can be coded easily to allow 2 phones to be connected at once.

Is it a thing with CarPlay that only one phone could sync? I asked but couldn’t get a straight answer so didn’t bother with it.

You can only sync one phone with CarPlay but if you have enhanced Bluetooth you can use that to sync another at the same time
