Replacement xenon headlight (non adaptive) coding required?

I need to replace xenon headlight as it's letting in water. If I get a replacement headlight and swap over existing control module and bulbs will I still need to code new headlight to vehicle? headlight part codes are a match.

Help greatly appreciated

No you won't.

If you’re keeping all the electronics then as far as your car knows it’s the same headlight.

You will need to align the new headlight correctly though.
