Total loss of Audio & Tones
Firstly, the car is booked in to BMW to sort this out but I’m interested to find out what is causing the problem and if anyone else has experienced it.
About a week ago I noticed there was no warning tone when I exited the car with the lights on (not in auto). Then I had a couple of drives where no sound came from any audio source for five minutes or so then suddenly came back. This has now escalated to a note on the professional audio display saying “ No Warning tones” and a total loss of audio , tones ( ie parking sensor etc) and loss of Bluetooth, plus crackles and slight feed back from the speakers even when turned off by pressing the volume knob. I would get and then loose audio/tones constantly over one short drive until now where I have nothing at all and the note appears when I start the car. I have checked in the boot for any connection/ wire issues but obviously can’t check behind the dash. A bit confusing and I’m missing my music. Any thoughts? 2016 435d M Sport Convertible |

Thank you for the reply teaston,
Sorry but I've been away hence the late reply . Turns out it was the HiFi Amp that was faulty and was replaced under warranty , annoyingly all presets / driver profiles / seat memory etc were lost during the fitment. |
Appreciate
