Firmware Update

I want to update my car to latest firmware. I have done coding but this looks bit harder to do. Can anyone recommend someone who can do this?

If you've done coding (with E-sys) then it's not too difficult.

You need full pszdata too. I've done it a few times and it's pretty straight forward

You have to be very careful doing this, you can brick your car quite easily!

Sorry for my ignorance here, but why would you want to update the firmware?

If it isn't broke (or stable) don't fix it unless I'm told otherwise by the dealer

I question the same thing.

I'm in the middle of an issue with my Climate Control glitching. Has happened since there were major software updates, due to fitting a new controller for the cameras. The garage have interrogated the whole CC system, all functions work, no faults are showing. The only thing they can put it down to, is the software update. They are having to get BMW involved as there is no knowledge of what it can be.

Problem started with a legacy compatibility issue for the new controller, has probably turned into a software/component mismatch, from my understanding.

I'll be keen to see how BMW, with all its expertise, get this one sorted.

Typical dealer story, they are not happy to touch anything, specially media. They know how much cost them to replace ecu if something goes wrong.

All those updates are for reason, important reason, otherwise what's point to spent time and money on it by bmw ag.

Of course you can't PM me as they partially block my account here.
Find me on FB, can't provide any details as they ban me this time for sure.

I'd be careful, I have seen a few people on forums with issues after using Adam from DD.

I've provided all the info required to flash your car above.
