Blue M performance callipers
Hi I have just bought a f30 335d with the blue m performance brakes, I am looking at pad choice as the oem ones give off so must dust its ridiculous i am forever cleaning the wheels and listening to squeaky brakes.
Can anyone recommend any other pads ? My fronts are due for a change in a few thousand miles so i see this an an opportunity to try and be dust free Thanks Ryan |

If you want low dust then EBC Redstuff are the ones to get, or another ceramic pad if any are available.
Apparently ceramic pads do have less initial bite though. |

Sorry I meant how do you find the performance of them compared to the stock pads?
Could of other questions too... 1) do you have OEM F80 pads in the rear calipers too? 2) what discs are you running, stock blanks of M Performance dimpled / slotted? |

F30/31/32 MSport brake pads = F80 standard?
Are the standard F80 and MSport F30/31 brake pads identical or directly interchangeable?
When I took my car to the dealer for it's service some three weeks ago, I mentioned the squealing MSport brakes that were annoying and embarassing in equal measure, and the service clerk said BMW were aware of the issue and had made changes to the brakepads as a result. Encouraged that there might be a permanent OEM fix for this, I booked the car in and to coincide with changing to winter tyres. Today, I was told by the service clerk (not the one I referred to earlier) that BMW would not change the pads or discs under warranty becuase they were older than 12k miles! I have done just under 21k with no warped or vibrating discs, and the car is still under warranty. However, the service clerk did say BMW had changed the pads for the M3/M4... Jens PS: New kid on the block here - hoping to ask and contribute in equal measure. |

Mine is booked in for the squealing but my dealer claims it’s a characteristic of the “performance nature” of the M Sport Braking System! |
