M perf coilover factory pics b4 and after?

Hi. Am about to take delivery of my car soon and will be having MP coils put on. I️ was wondering if people have a before and after pic at the recommended height? I’ve read some of the threads but it’s not all that clear. The whole 600 mm fender to bottom of wheel throws me off. Never heard it described that way before

Also At recommended install. How much is the front and rears lowered 20mm 25 mm?

Also What is most comfortable setting for daily

Thanks in advance.

I highly recommend lowering the rear to the lowest possible setting. There will still be "index finger wheel gap". As for the front, the lowest setting will give you maybe a 1/2 finger gap? I currently cruise around in the softest compression setting and factory recommended rebound settings. Good luck!

At delivery and then with MP suspension, set lightly higher than recommended. I run bump and rebound at recommended settings though is probably a bit tight for everyday. Livable though.

Thanks guys for the pic...
2 follow up questions,

1) vs recommnded settings how much lower is maxing out the lowering? Opplock1. If u have a fix on that that be great

2) ride settings,...So softest compression will help when going into bumps on local streets right? And rebound is for the speed out of the bump...?
So softening up both ...would that be too bouncy?

see front pic can go lower - more than you are likely to want to go. Front is already nose down at recommended heights. If you are going to soften for DD then I would soften rebound as well. Say 3 clicks and run it a while see if you like that, then more if you still want softer. Its pretty iron fisted at recommended set up so I doubt it will pogo at 3 or 4 clicks.

Corner Balance and alignment...there is no ONE standard setting for coilover height...

You cannot check height by looking at pictures...you cannot eye ball this. It is science and geometry

agree 100%, question is to corner balance with driver only in car?

Depends how rigid you want to be...if you want a true corner balance, you should sit in the car while they align and balance it. That is my plan once I'm ready to do camber plates

Adjusted to factory recommended height setting.
Rear is adjusted to the lowest setting.
Front as seen on the picture still have approx. 8-10 mm left.
Compression and rebound accordingly to factory recommendations.
Cheers

For those lucky owners with MPC/overs - do you have the alignment sheet post fitting - how much camber F & R ?

If I read this right - your front camber differs by 20' L&R - I wouldn't be happy with that after spending a chunk on MPC's.....

How much did these impact daily drivability? I like in an area with shitty roads but want the car a tad lower

didn't notice or question but now that you mention it? most of the driving here is not motorway and the roads have a crown in the middle sloping/curving away each side so I wonder if this is to compensate for that.
