Need help installing NEW MAP FOR MY V3

Is anyone around able to give me a hand uploading a new map for my v3. I have the laptop and have downloaded the software.... I just don't want to make any mistakes. My downpipes and exhaust are going in tomorrow and I need the map in before the work gets done.
I'm located in Northridge near the 405 101 fwys . I live 2 minutes from csun...

any help would be great.

all you do is plug the comp in, open up the procede software... file -> open... and choose the new Map file. it will load, and you are good to go

I got it and just sent you a reply.

Do I have to have the new map uploaded before the install of the dp's tomorrow ? Do I have the latest firmware already since my v3 is the pnp ?

It's not going to ruin anything if you update the map after you get the dp installed. But do it sooner than later since the downpipes require different boost control logic. You, and every other v3 user out there, has the most current firmware version. So all you need to do is update the map. I'll post up a link here later today with simple condensed instructions.

He did upload a map but it was not very powerful because I didn't have any supporting mods to really make the power. Once you change the intake to a dual cone or bms style intake and delete the primary and secondary cats with dp's and exhaust the flow of the engine changes and allows you to make way more power than a stock car with just v3 or any tune for that matter.
