F36 lci reversing camera

Hi, just picked up my new f36 430d LCi lobbing the car it has every option ticked but a reversing camera. I was wondering if anyone has fitted ir on the lci with the lastest I drive? Thanks in advance

I have it, what do you need to know mate? Don't really use it that much TBH!

Have you fitted the camera yourself to the lci car? Because I want to order a kit just want to know whether if the kits which are pre lci shall still work or if someone has done an install

I should be able to install the camera, I have the eys software if coding needs to be done but if there is a guide to follow it would be great

Did you know there’s an integration camera kit that will give you the look and feel of the oem camera but costs much less?

Yeah I am aware of these kits I was wondering if they would work with the new idrive system otherwise I'd be ordering and returning for no reason just seeing if anyone has experience with the lastest idrive and these kits

I've got the bimmertec one - exactly the same as the BMW official one.

Comes into its own when hooking up to a trailer ...

I'm tempted to do this but with bits off a breaker.

Assuming it's just coding, the loom (cheap enough off BMW), and the camera and electrics box?

I'd imagine if you find a decent breaker you could get the bits for £100?!

The control box is the expensive bit and available cheap on eBay. Iirc the official camera and wire isn't that much. Fitting cost me £200 including programming.

Please check prices first and stop dreaming, this "cheap" cable alone from bmw cost over £100...
