Does this tint pricing sound right?

I am between two shops to get the tinting and clear bra my e92 335xi done. Here are the options:

Shop #1. Madico 20% non-metal film (can't remember if it is the charcoal or charcool line). This shop will not do the vinyl strip. This shop does all the ferraris, maserati's, lamborghini's and dealer overflow for a bmw dealer that has in in-house tinter. They want ~225. Full frontal clear bra wrap with 18" is $595.

Shop #2. Suntek non-metal 18% Carbon film. They do all the dealer work in Boulder and based on my internet searches (taken with a grain of salt) seem to have many happy customers. This place will do the vinyl strip and it will run me an extra $50. All in for the tint is ~$450. Full frontal clear bra wrap with 18" is $645.

The clear bra prices are comparable but the tinting is way off. I cannot find another shop that uses the suntek carbon film to see if this price is normal. Shop #2 is known for being a bit more expensive but they seem to do great work.

If someone could provide me with some insight based on the facts presented above that would be great. Thanks.

carbon tint is usually double that of regular tint. but it really works in keeping the interior of your car cooler than regular tint.

of all the places I called, these two offer the best films. There may be othe places but I have not found them. Every other place I called uses metallized film which I want to avoid.

Huper Optik here in Miami is like 300 bucks.

Llumar and Solar Guard go for less than $200.

Both pricing for quality work with interior door panels removed if neccesary.

Why? Well, I called every place I could find. I avoided the shops that did not look like they had a work area that I would comfortable leaving my $50K+ car with.

If you are asking why avoid metallic tint -- if you have Comfort Access it can get screwed up by metallic tint.
