V2 procede vs Dinan 335i
The other day I met up with a few kids. The one kid had a V2 335i coupe with full exaust, no cats or something. It was soo loud! We raced from a 60mph roll both 6mt in 3rd gear. Right from the start I ever so inched and seemed like I was able to hold third gear longer than he was because I saw him shift before me and I pulled a couple feet. It was super close he was next to me with his front bumper at my sideview mirror. We shut it down about 125.
He says he puts down 365whp or so. They asked me what I am putting down and I have no idea. Probly around 330 or so . I thought he was going to pull on me with the V2 and exaust. But he didnt go ANYWHERE!! What you guys think was up with that??

What tranny does he have and what do youhave?
Here's the thing...if he really has 368 whp, then there's only one other reason. He doesn't know how to shift! Please tell me he has a manual.

And no other mods on yours?
Btw, your stage II probably puts down around 335 - 340 (using a 13% drive train loss factor based on dinan quoted 384 at the crank)

Something is up with that. I ran a dinan car at the track, and I walked him. The two lane christmas tree dyno doesn't lie....

But seriously, maybe he can't drive, or he had a passenger and you didn't? Maybe you got the jump on him, or whatever. I am not saying a Dinan car can't be fast, but we have yet to see anything fast at the dragstrip where these things can be verified somewhat. Check out www.dragtimes.com

Not bad at all. G tech usually show a bit better than real life track, but pretty close. What mph on the G tech?
