M5 or 550i shift knob convert?

has anyone tried to replace the stock 325i auto shift knob for these? would they fit?

yes, its been done (with first one in your pic, not second) but obviously shift pattern is wrong. There is a guy on this forum who did this (in asia). Search forums for it in tech section.

it looks good though.

I also saw the SMG knob on a 3-series recently. I think the poster said that the actual shifter just fits on plug-and-play (universal shift mount), but took some funky wiring to get it to light up.
