Single exit to dual exit exhaust

Planning on doing a dual exit exhaust on my 328i. Really want an mtech rear bumper and hate the way the single exit bumper looks. (Plus CF diffuser looks badass) wanted to ask is there anything special that has to be done to the exhaust? And as for ordering the bumper do I just order a regular 335i mtech bumper? Any tips would be appreciated

Yes, grab that mtech bumper.

http://www.**********s.com/remus-spo...ad-exhaust.htm

Is the easiest way ^ in terms of a setup, don't need that particular product.

I did mine by using the mtech bumper, 335 / (possibly, iirc) m3 trunk storage bin, Custom x-pipe fab & 335i Remus Mufflers. And moving that evap canister.

Good luck!

Yes, grab an M-Tech rear bumper for your year and opt for the 335 diffuser. As for the exhaust is up to you how you want to execute it, easiest and quickest way is doing the 90 degree angle bend going towards the passenger side and behind the storage box closer to the rear of the car.

If you want to spend a little more money and get a cleaner look then Noir's way is the way to go.

I’ve seen the 90 degree angle exhaust only thing that scares me about that is on both cars that I’ve seen with it you can see the piping hanging from the rear. Not sure if it’s the mufflers Shop fault or if that’s how it will look on all e90’s. Want it to look as oem as possible

How much did this set up run you? Minus the Remus mufflers

Man.. when I get home, I'll fumble through my emails/receipts...
iirc, bumper from ECS ( I think I said F it and bought the oem) $456 now... Sounds close.
The 335i trunk bin was $80 something... advertised as $87 @ ECS right now, again sounds close.
The only thing I dont have is the fabrication receipt which is back in Virginia. :/
I know I got spared some expense, however little, since I am always at the local bimmer shop for almost everything. When I get that back, I will edit this post... But that won't be until about the middle of January... Home on leave. I do remember there is a minicat to tame the smell, that was anywhere $50-70 I think.

I'm sorry! Wish I could put out more accurate info for you.

Thinking about doing this too. I have a question for anyone who's done this before. Does the evap canister relocation go hand-in-hand with the 335i storage compartment conversion? I would like to get away with only doing the compartment conversion, because I'm not interested in putting 335i exhaust on - I would only like a little more room to work with when making the bends with custom exhaust. Thanks.

I have a n52 (325i 328i 330i) remus bolt on quad exhaust conversion system for sale.

Still have receipt from **********s.com

Bolts on and uses factory exhaust hangers, no need for storage box/evap canister relocation or removal.

$500 picked up.
