Oxidation Removal???

I have an older car that is starting to oxidize. Any ideas out there on how to remove the oxidation?

A very light polish should do it. I recommend Klasse AIO. I seen this stuff work magic on red. Man that red color that looks like red caulk.

Sidenote: Please people don't over do it on the abrasives. I have seen other fourms telling people to use heavy abrasives when it was not necessary. Always try lowest posible and if it doesn't work, work up to the heavier ones.

Thanks... I've tried everything... once it's back in the sun... it's back. Even took it to a well known bodyshop in Sacramento.. they too said nothing can be used or done to the car to remove oxidation...except repaint the area. Oh well..my luck!

You need a good paint "cleaner" and a RO machine to do the job well. A decent solvent based cleaner is Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner. It is cheap, and can be found at Autozone and the like.

You may need to do a few courses of it, followed by a good wax.

No way on car detailer forums they talk all the time on removing it.
