Remove Catback for DP Install?

I am getting ready to install my AWE exhaust wit midpipe on my F32. I want to see how it sounds before buying a DP though. Will I have to remove the catback completely if I end up adding the DP afterward?

No, you just have to loosen up some of the parts to make it easier to slide around.

i'm pretty sure you will need to unbolt the cat-back from the stock catted downpipe to change the downpipe.

I’m fine if it’s just unbolting and not having to actually remove anything but the downpipe

Just unbolt midpipe from DP & it helps if you remove the closest hanger to that joint to allow the front end of midpipe to move around a bit to get good alignment

Yep just unbolt it, you don't need to remove it off the car physically.
