Does replacement RDC Antenna need programming

Hopefully this is a quick and easy for you guys. I've done some searching and I can't say for certain that I've found the answer. The front right RDC Antenna (receiver) is missing from the 2008 328i Sedan. If I were to replace it, would it need to be programmed by the dealer? I pretty sure the TPMS sensors need programming, but not sure about he RDC Antenna.

Just for clarity, I'm talking about the antenna that most people on the forums say looks like the USB device. I can post a picture if needed.

Is there a service manual for this model on the forums?

Thanks!
