Interesting to see we do not have any recommendations for car washes and detailing in Chicago area. Lets start the threat

Where does everyone go? Who do you like and why? Looking for places where we all go for washing our cars.

I use Simon's Shine Shop in LP. They hand wash and I usually see one of the owners there all of the time. I do my own wax/sealant but I would use them if I needed detailing. I've been thinking about having them do a light polish but have been holding back.

Chicago Auto Pros takes care of my car for big projects, but I don't drive it in the winter. They ceramic coated my entire car last year with CQuartz Professional. Top notch.

I have my own detailing arsenal and generally don't trust the car to anyone else other than myself.

I'm playing around with an idea of opening a touch less car wash in Chicago city area, with the newest touch -less wash machine (including washing the bottom of the car, drying), don't know if its a good business opportunity.
But otherwise, I get my car cleaned at Chicago AutoPros, they always clean my car, they do ceramic tinting as well.

That's a good idea. Specially for those who are busy and need automatic touch less car wash

1st impressions in Naperville/aurora off route 59 by fox valley mall. Came here today for the first time, definetly impressed.
