Carbon Fiber Intake Discounted

I don't plan on buying one as I have a Euro airbox on my 328, but I know some folks are fans of carbon fiber. This intake is on sale for $359. I have no association with the company, just stumbled across it and thought I'd share. Looks to be slightly more enclosed than some of the earlier versions I've seen.

At least it's not completely open, the side that border the engine is sealed off, limiting most of the heat soak issues.

That's what I was thinking too, and you could duct air to the side that's open, just wouldnt be sealed like the Dinan intake mod.

Based on the pictures it looks like it would. May have to pull the trigger on this. Price is definitely right!

My friend has a very similar unit from aFe, I should monitor the IATs and compare them to my stock airbox.

I wonder if the air duct from the m3 would feed it enough cold air to make it useful.
