What tune are you running and how many limps have your thrown?

Just curious.. Sorta a poll for the community.

Can you post what tunes you are or have ran, and if you had any limps, and if you did under what conditions (what other mods, fuel, temp, WOT, etc.) If you haven't had limps please post as well.

And lets keep this civil. No bashing or I told you so.. Would be great to have a reference to what conditions throw codes, and in what combination of mods.

Mike

Rossifumi AA Active Processor, to this date I would believe it to be around 7-8 limps. Could easily be higher but I avoid running WOT through the gears that triggers the limp.

Helix Attache since late February 2008 with the 93 octane map, no codes or limps at all and i push my car hard. i already have forge dv's and bms intake... adding Riss catless dp's in the next week or 2 with terry 02 sims and also updating the Helix Attache map to the "93 octane w/ catless DP's" for a bit more power.

It is. I used it without any issues for about 8 weeks. Sold it, the new owner is very happy with it. I guess your car has a problem ... do you have ProgMan v29.2 already ?

No piggyback is immune. If you asked users, the AA probably has had the least issues IMO.

I only had one limp WOT 3rd mis-shifted and bounced off rev limiter. No other issues at all for 3 months.

Some like to think it is end user fault. but i have a feeling it is the boost, a/f ratios and power outputs oh and driving conditions. I mean how hard are they to install.

I know that AA probably has the least problems, but there have still been some. I could accept that it was a user fault if the error occured just driving through 1 or 2 gears WOT. But now it only occurs when going through several gears. I guess I have to wait and see if I get a new map or not.
Well, I guess a lower boost map could be helpful for further investigations.

Hi Rossifumi! It was nice meeting you at the airfield. Guess who hit a deer yesterday after receiving my car last Thursday... Anyway, no humans were hurt so I'm happy. My car will be back in a couple of weeks.

Have you tried to change the spark plugs?

Can your problem relate to overheat issues at cyl 5 and 6 because of no oil cooler? a long shot I know...

Keep the posts coming Few SSTT user have chimed in and no limps. Just curious. HAs anybody heard of limps from SSTT. I don't recall seeing any posts relating to limps with either SSTT or JB1? I don't think I have seen any with JB2 either (thats JB2 without anything else like H pills or R or X upgrades)
