F80 Exhaust swap to F30 335i

Do somebody know will the Exhaust of F80 fits to my F30 335i?

Of course i need a Y Tip to connect both sides of the muffler. But i mean is there enough space to put the F80 Exhaust inside the same place where my N55 Exhaust now is?

Maybe some of you did it already and got some Pics for me?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my englisch, i'm from germany

No, wouldn't work; F80 have two downpipes not one, and even the axle back is made very differently, different attachment points etc.

And anyway, why would you want to do that, the F80 sounds awful
(somebody mentionned "farting in a tin can", I understood what that meant when I drove one )

The M2 exhaust can be made to fit (the tip location is an issue but you can have a shop move them farther apart or cut them off and use your stock tips.

The M car exhaust systems are raspy but if you like it you can install an M2 one.

I dont care about the DP because i just want to fit the rear muffler and not the complete Exhaustsystem. Even i dont care about more Sound or better sound. I want to do that for Show.

Hence my double comment about DP or axle back neither work if you look at the link and schema it's pretty clear especially if you look for the same for the 335i.

M2 exhaust is a possibility it's been done on a 435i, there was a post here a few days/weeks ago.

I think a M2 exhaust will not fit with a M4 rear bumper. Or i have to change the Tips.

It could work, but I do not know if the space f30's have in the rear will allow it to fit nice. Also doesn't matter if it has two downpipes, as long as you split into dual pipe from the single downpipe (with the correct pipe diameter), in the mid section.

I want to start with the System behind the mid pipe. Only the rear muffler and not even the mid pipe. In the f30 you can also use the same exhaust holders. The holes are on the same position like on the F80. I only dont know is there enough space for the muffler. It looks like it will fit. I know that the hole in the Trunk floor have the same size on both Cars.

You dont need to change the entire mid pipe to dual, but somewhere in the rear you will need to do a Y transition to connect the 3 inch single pipe to both left and right exhaust pipes on the axle back. Looking at pictures, it should fit since they look identical.

i would like to know if the f80 fits the f30 as well... Just incase i decide to go with a f80 style rear bumper in the future... a f80 exhaust might flow better with the body lines.
