2 oil leaks - need help identifying

As you can see, there is one coming from the back of the block (rear main seal?) and another that makes what I think is the water pump wet on oil.
Which oil leak will result in the water pump or whatever that is right behind the front swaybar soak in oil? is it dripping from the oil filter housing? did that one less that a year ago but you can tell that the front of the engine is not completely dry.

The oil pan gasket leaking is common on these cars. It's possible that's leaking and looks like the rear main, but that could very well be leaking as well. The water pump being oily can be from the oil filter housing leak (it goes every g*dd*mnwhere) or from the turbo connection if this is an N54, oil blow-by will be found throughout your intake tract normally.

I would clean it all up with degreaser and a gentle hose off so you can pinpoint the leaks. There is also UV dye you can put in your oil to track down leaks.

thanks for the input. I did clean it up with break fluid cleaner and some rags and will put it back on ramps in a couple of days to see where exactly is coming from.
